About 'The Old School Gate'

on the Costa Blanca

This forum was created for parents living in the beautiful Northern Costa Blanca, in Eastern Spain - covering areas such as Javea, Denia, Calpe, Benitachell, Jalon, Moraira, Gata and inland.

We can all learn from each other and share information to help our children and families, to help us all get the most out of our quality of life here in Spain.  If you have any connection with the area, whether you live here or are thinking of a move, please join us and the conversations going on in the various forums.  We called it The Old School Gate because that is traditionally the hub of all the playground gossip and insider info - and not just for the kids!  Especially when starting in a new community, parents rely on the connections and communications forged by contacting others with whom they already have something in common... and what better shared connection than having kids at the same school?

The Costa Blanca has a growing and vibrant English speaking community, some of it seasonal, others of us making this beautiful part of Spain our year round home.  Come and tell us about the Costa Blanca you know and love, help us all discover new corners of the area to enjoy and explore...

If you'd like a dedicated board for your school please just drop the administrator a private message and we'll sort that out for you - the more the merrier.  Some things will of course relate to your school and that's the right place to bring them up, but if it would interest or help other parents and potential parents please consider posting in 'general chat' instead,
